This is a special inspection performed on new homes before installation of the gypsum wallboard, so that defects found can be corrected while it’s still relatively inexpensive to do. Only an inspector familiar with and certified in the local building codes should perform these inspections. This inspection covers not only the framing but also the rough plumbing, rough electrical, and rough mechanical.
This inspection is any portion of the ASHI Standard Inspection as requested by the client.
